This is a perfect blend of Otoro and Akami because it straddles both types of tuna, providing a meaty and fatty texture for a real celebration in your mouth. With toro, the prime meat that comes from the belly of the fish, you have the Otoro and the Chutoro.
“O” means big and “Chu” means medium in Japanese. The word “toro” is derived from the Japanese word of Torokeru which means melt. As it says, Otoro has a marbled, melting texture and is the fattiest part of the maguro.
Blue-Fin Tuna is commonly traded on the best Tokyo markets commanding premium prices. Although sushi includes many various tuna types such as Yellow-fin as well as Big-Eye, excellent quality Otoro and Chutoro are ONLY obtained from Blue-Fin Tuna.

PACKAGING
Each frozen and individually vacuum sealed product is carefully packed into a cardboard box lined with eco-friendly insulation. In order to maintain the integrity of the package contents, all beef products are packed with dry ice and ice gel pack with cooler bag. Orders will be delivered frozen OR slightly thawed (but still cold) depending on the time in transit.
OVERNIGHT SHIPPING (Next Day Shipping)
With Overnight Shipping, The products will arrive completely frozen OR slightly thawed (but still cold) depending on the time in transit. It is normal for the dry ice to have dissipated. In most cases, a portion of the dry ice is still solid (it hasn’t fully evaporated). Please follow the instructions for handling dry ice. These instructions are included in each WAGYUMAN package.

- We ship to qualifying addresses in the 48 states (except HI and AK).
- We have no responsibility in case of lost/thief of the package or damage of the products for the delivery with No signature selected.
- Each individual order must ship to a single qualifying physical address.
- All shipments require a street address.
- We're unable to ship to PO Box addresses or APO/FPO addresses at this time.
- WAGYUMAN is not responsible for any shipment that is delivered incorrectly and/or undeliverable due to incomplete, incorrect and/or invalid shipping addresses. Please double check your shipping address when placing your order.
